To encourage and reward activity within the forum a post reputation system has been adopted. This allows users to provide feedback on posts they particularly like or to reward a user for their efforts and contribution to the forum.
Below a post from a user you will see a green thumbs up and a red thumbs down.
These buttons allow you to either thumbs up a post if you like it or thumbs down a post if you do not like it. For every thumbs up you receive from a user you will gain 1 reputation. A thumbs down however will not give you -1 reputation. This is because we reward rather than punish.
You can not give your own post a rating and you have a maximum of 5 votes in a 24 hour period.
Posts which contains multiple votes will have a "message reputation" attached to them in which it shows the amount of votes a particular post has accumulated.
