What is one of your favorite art styles?

When it comes to graphics in games - I tend to be the type of person who isn't too obsessed with incredible high graphical fidelity. However, that doesn't mean that style and appearance isn't important. One of my favorite art styles is simplistic and minimalist - this can range from 2D to 3D.
Voxel Art especially has been catching my eye most recently in games like Stonehearth;
So what are some of your favorite art styles, and maybe games that capture that style in a way that really catches your eye?

I would agree. Usually people want realism graphics. But realism doesn't work for every type of game. I personally feel it depends on the pace and feel of the game. But yea, i also like voxel and the minimalist style on slow paced games

I really like Low Poly for 3D, if it has good aesthetics ideas behind it! I also think the color choice is fundamental to create an impactful visual style.
The game here is Rime from Grey Box Games. Low Poly with awesome color choices!

For 2D i just prefer Pixel Art over almost anything else. I think the perfect example that coniugates simplicity with aesthetical impact is Titan Souls, from Acid Nerve.
(For 2D, I'd also love to point out an awesome game, which has the most SIMPLE art style, but it's by far one of the most breathtaking examples of 2D art styles I've seen in a while; I'm talking about Hollow Knight, by Team Cherry.)

Lately I'm totally into low res: pixel art for 2D and low poly for 3D.
Maybe I'm too much into low res, so much I tend to think that a low res game is better than it actually is and viceversa a realistic game is worse than it is...
Here are examples of the styles I'm talking about:
2D pixel art
Crawl
RIOT - Civil Unrest
Witchmarsh
3D low poly
Overland
Dead Static Drive
Lonely Mountains: Downhill
