An Introduction to myself

Hello,
I'm Dylan - at the moment of writing this introduction; I am a Master's Student at the University of Malta's Institute of Digital Games - pursuing a Master's in Science in Digital Games with a focus on Game Analysis and Design. My undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Public Policy.
I work primarily using Game Maker Studio 2 - I self-taught myself Game Maker Studio as I prepared my portfolio for the current Master's Degree I am pursuing during my Undergraduate years. I able to program with GML within Game Maker Studio - I hope to expand my programming skills later on and add Unity to my skill-set; however, GMS is definitely an engine I enjoy using and working with and plan on continuing for a while. I do enjoy touching on various aspects of Game Development, mostly concerning designing the game itself, managing the project, creating artwork and graphical assets, and programming and implementing the game itself; however I prefer some parts of each aspect over others.
I have a strong interest in ranging in various topics including History, Commerce topics [Such as Marketing, Economics and Project Management], Game Design, and Game Analysis to name a few. I maintain a Personal Game Development Blog where I keep track of my Game Development, and also write about other topics that interest me every so often.
I am also an avid gamer - with my favorite genre being Strategy, I was a huge fan of Command and Conquer - in particular Tiberium Sun. Now a days - I tend to enjoy 4X Strategy Games, Management Games, Survival Games and games which are Action but also have a compelling narrative and game-world component to them [such as Dishonoured] the most; however I tend to enjoy trying out games which interest me but don't fall within what I usually play.
That's mostly it - feel free to ask if you're interested in something in particular! =)
Dylan
