Forged Battalion

Anyone else interested in RTS games? More specifically - remember the Command and Conquer franchise under Westwood studios a while ago? Have a look at this.

Just skimming through the article - there's more than a few interesting mechanics, cool ideas and not to mention just the game itself looks pretty great. I look forward to seeing this game later on - pretty excited to see that RTS might be getting a pretty interesting addition!

I heard about this a while ago. If they try and keep the nostalgia of the old C&C games i think they will do rather well. Its the same as the new Age of Empires game coming out. Nostalgia nostalgia nostalgia.

Indeed - some of the features they listed sound pretty exciting - a custom faction rather than pre-made factions from the get go? That might be interesting - granted it's been done. Customisation units also sounds pretty sweet - which again, whilst it's been done before - the fact it's the developers from the old Westwood; is pretty exciting.
