Hello!

My name's Daniel/Dan. I'm a Scottish game dev student studying games development at Edinburgh Napier University. I work mostly in C++/OpenGL. My course is technically focused rather than design so it's mostly back end C++ graphics and physics engine stuff. I scratch my design itch with side projects.

My friends and I are making a puzzle game we hope to publish next summer using Unity. My primary domain is the UI, graphics and save file system programming.

I stumbled onto Jamie's stream from reddit (/r/Unity3D or /r/GameDev I can't remember) the other day and he helped me out with a bug that had been giving me the runaround. And I contributed to his enemy AI a tiny bit. Been lurking the Discord a bit and made a couple posts. You seem like a good lot. Always the same names though. You need to put yourself out there more.

I'll post a bit about what languages I know to give you an idea of what sort of thing I can give constructive help with vs the level of understanding I might already have if I ask for help.
I know C# and Java very well, C and C++ fairly strongly, and have a working knowledge of Python and SQL. I have a cursory knowledge of Haskell and pure functional languages in general but I am far from comfortable using it for anything beyond basic mathematics.
